Description In 1979 Doctor Who visited Paris, the first time that the series had ever ventured abroad for location filming. City of Death is a quintessentially Douglas Adams piece; filled with outlandish concepts, razor sharp wit and stylish humour. It was also the highest rated serial of the show’s first twenty-six year run. More than thirty years on, cast and crew reunite to share their memories of the production in a brand new commentary for all four episodes. Additionally we present a bonus track for an episode of Nightmare of Eden. Moderated by actor, comedian and cult television enthusiast Toby Hadoke, this release features Julian Glover (Count Scarlioni), Catherine Schell (Countess Scarlioni), David Graham (Professor Kerensky), Doreen James (Costume Designer) and James Goss (Novelist) for City of Death and Peter Craze (Officer Costa) and Robert Goodman (Mandril) for Nightmare of Eden. These CDs can be enjoyed on their own or played in conjunction with the official BBC DVD release. These commentaries contain no BBC copyrighted elements and do not feature audio from the episodes themselves.
