Description Silicone Brake Fluid is a Premium quality, fully Synthetic silicone Brake Fluid designed for use where DOT 5 Silicone brake fluids are required. It fully meets the requirements of the US FMVSS 116 DOT 5 Specification. Silicone Brake Fluid is recommended for re-fill or top-up of brake and clutch systems in all vehicles and equipment that specify a DOT 5 Silicone fluid. Can be used for first fill or refilling system that already contains DOT 5 fluid. Vehicles currently using DOT 3 and 4 fluids can be changed over easily by flushing through with new DOT 5 fluid. It is suitable for use in Racing cars and motorcycles for competition applications as it resists the formation of vapours that can cause a loss in braking performance. Extremely high boiling point (>300°C), providing good pedal feel and fade free braking. Not Hygroscopic so will not absorb water maintaining stability through the life of the fluid.
