Description A distant feudal society battling between its noble historic past and the possibilities of a future with the Galactic Federation, formed the setting for two of the most fondly remembered serials of the Jon Pertwee era. The Curse of Peladon, and its sequel The Monster of Peladon, introduced viewers to a plethora of new monstrous creations, including the hermaphrodite hexapod Alpha Centauri and the furry beast Aggedor. They also reintroduced the towering green Martian invaders, the Ice Warriors. This collection contains a complete commentary track for The Curse of Peladon, and two selected episodes from The Monster of Peladon. Moderated by actor, comedian and cult television enthusiast Toby Hadoke, this release features Katy Manning (Jo Grant), Ysanne Churchman (Voice of Alpha Centauri), Nick Hobbs (Aggedor), Wendy Danvers (Amazonia), Sylvia James (Make-Up) and Marcia Wheeler (Production Assistant). These CDs can be enjoyed on their own or played in conjunction with the official BBC DVD release. These commentaries contain no BBC copyrighted elements and do not feature audio from the episodes themselves.
